ICCD 2022: Call for Special Sessions Proposals

The International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD) encompasses a wide range of topics in the research, design, and implementation of computer systems and their critical components. ICCD's multi-disciplinary emphasis provides an ideal environment for developers and researchers to discuss practical and theoretical work covering computer systems and applications, computer architecture, verification and test, security, electronic design automation tools and methodologies, logical and physical aspects of circuit design, and technology. Researchers both from academia and industry are invited to submit proposals for special sessions. A special session could consist of a set of individual presentations or a panel discussion. The special sessions should aim at providing a complementary experience with respect to the regular sessions. Hence, sessions focusing on hot topics of interest to the community (e.g., blockchains, machine learning techniques and application, accelerators, hardware and software security, open-source design infrastructure, and quantum computing etc.) that may also go beyond disciplines traditionally represented at ICCD are particularly welcome.

Submission details:

A single PDF file including the following information needs to be submitted:

• Title of special session
• Rationale of the need for the special session. The rationale should stress the novelty of the topic and/or its multidisciplinary flavor, and must explain how it is different from the subjects covered by the regular sessions
• Short biography of the organizer(s)
• List of contributed presentations. For each presentation, need to submit
  • Title of the presentation
  • Abstract of the special session
  • Contact information of the corresponding presenter
• For panel proposals, list the panelists and their area of expertise.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceeding, based on camera-ready guideline. At least one author is required to have full speaker registration.

Proposals are due on or before July 24th, 2022 11:59 PM (AoE) and should be submitted through EasyChair (Special Sessions)

Important Dates:

• Special Session proposal due: July 15th, 2022 July 24th, 2022
• Acceptance notification: July 22nd, 2022 July 31st 2022
• Contribution submission deadline: August 21st, 2022
• Camera-ready version due: September 17th, 2022
